About the client
Rumpf is a medium-sized German company that sells products for dance sports and develops and manufactures its own. The in-house collections include dresses, shirts, pants as well as special shoes for various dance styles such as salsa, tango, ballet or hip-hop. The company sells its products not only in Germany but worldwide and is considered an innovator and visionary in the scene.
Terms of reference
The Rumpf brand approached us as a marketing agency with two tasks at once. Firstly, the brand was to be given a modern image and secondly, its visibility was to be significantly increased. While insiders and dealers already had the brand on their radar, it was still too unknown to the end consumer.
Realization
These are tasks that we love as a creative agency and marketing experts: not just giddyup or giddyup, but the full program. The first thing we did was analyze the competition. What does it do, how does it present itself and what can it do? From this and from our client’s strengths, we developed his UPS: functionally innovative design.
In step two, we further developed the corporate design so that it would be interpreted by the target group in a modern and contemporary way. The graphics and visual language were redefined and designed and implemented accordingly by our experts.
We approached the issue of visibility in a very progressive way for the small target group and took the brand all over the world. No matter where in the world people dance – they should get to know and love Rumpf. So we got out of the limited trade magazines and took the brand on buses and trains, among other things, in the truest sense of the word.
